 The ProStor InfiniVault Model 3 data preservation system is the entry-level offering from ProStor, providing up to 3TB native capacity (6TB compressed) in a single integrated tower configuration.
For small businesses and departmental workgroups that require long-term storage of data to meet internal requirements or regulatory compliance laws, the InfiniVault Model 3 is a cost-effective solution that combines the best characteristics of tape, disk, and optical media into a scalable, disk-based archive platform.
To assist with “green” initiatives for data centers, the ProStor InfiniVault addresses power and cooling concerns by completely spinning down the RDX drives when not being accessed. Additionally, RDX drives do not require periodic power up and testing, as once cartridges are removed from the system and stored on the shelf, they do not require any power or cooling.
